Transforming Waste into Resources
Neos, designed to convert 100 tons of mixed plastic waste each day into PlasCred Circular Condensate™, is slated to save approximately 36,500 tons of plastic waste from landfills annually. The process yields a circular petrochemical feedstock, ready to be reused in producing new plastics, illustrating a sustainable lifecycle for materials that would typically contribute to landfill mass.
PlasCred's patented dual catalytic pyrolysis system stands out in the market, having been successfully validated in the pilot stage. The system's ability to transform contaminated plastics offers an efficient solution to some of the most significant challenges in recycling practices today. Furthermore, the integration of Palantir Foundry’s AI data platform provides real-time insights on operational performance and environmental impact, enhancing the plant's sustainability metrics.
Support from Alberta’s Government
The journey to establishing Neos has been bolstered by meaningful support from the Alberta government, including a non-dilutive grant of $5 million from Emissions Reduction Alberta. This grant catalyzes the momentum needed for PlasCred to advance the facility's development, highlighting Alberta's commitment to reducing emissions while fostering economic growth through innovative technologies.

The global commodities company has already agreed to purchase all production outputs at a fixed price, guaranteeing revenue stability from day one.
Furthermore, PlasCred's plans for scalability include moving beyond the Neos facility with the subsequent Maximus project that can process significantly larger volumes of plastic waste. This Long-term vision embodies a blueprint for replicating successful recycling models in various North American markets, thereby establishing PlasCred as a major player in the global recycling landscape.
Financial Projections Reflecting Stability
PlasCred is optimistic about the financial viability of the Neos project, estimating the plant's cost at approximately $25 million with construction projected to commence soon. Expected revenues of $19 million and an EBITDA of nearly $6.9 million underline the scalability and profitability potential of this venture.
The strategic pricing model deployed will ensure a consistent revenue stream, adding to the financial robustness of the project. Moreover, with anticipated greenhouse gas reductions amounting to about 51,000 tons of CO₂e annually, the facility presents both an environmentally and economically driven agenda.
